Lifeguard Programme: Bandana

This bandana depicts the first recorded UFO attack on the beach that led to the formation of the Lifeguard Programme. The image captures the moment of interruptionβ€”an ordinary beach scene disrupted by an unfamiliar presence overhead.

The illustration was hand-drawn using pastels, then scanned and digitally edited. Graphic elements and color interventions were added using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, blending analog texture with digital precision.

Designed as a wearable artifact, the bandana functions as both documentation and symbolβ€”an object that carries the origin story of the programme while existing as a functional, everyday item.
